1. 7 SEO Copywriting Tips To Engage Readers And Rank
Most SEO copywriting tips focus on adding specific keywords and other minor tweaks that help search engines find your content more easily.
While these tips are still helpful, search engines are now very savvy at deducing the topic of a blog post and making small technical optimizations won't give you the ranking boost you want.
Instead, prioritize keeping users engaged with compelling copy.
Thanks to the added pressure of competition from ChatGPT, search engines are rapidly optimizing their algorithms to prioritize delivering the highest quality answer possible. As a result, user engagement signals are more important than ever before.
>> In this post, we'll teach you various SEO copywriting techniques to improve user engagement and ultimately increase your rankings in the search results.
2. Dakota Robinson: From Electrician to Successful Ghostwriter
In this episode of the Copyblogger podcast, Tim Stoddart interviews Dakota Robertson, founder of GrowthGhost, about his entrepreneurial journey. Dakota shares how he stumbled upon an opportunity in online writing and built an audience of over half a million followers. They discuss the relatability of not feeling like a natural-born entrepreneur and how to embrace opportunities that come your way.

3. It's Time To Promote Your Brand
Guess what? You're reading promotional content in a newsletter. Sponsoring newsletters, like this one, is a great way to reach engaged and targeted audiences. It will build your brand — whether that is your personal brand or your business.
So here's the deal. This newsletter is part of the ConvertKit Sponsor Network (CKSN), representing more than 100 individual newsletter creators. Sponsor the Copyblogger newsletter and gain access to many more.

4. Why You Should NOT Start a Newsletter (And What To Do Instead)
Newsletters are great businesses, but you probably shouldn't start one.
In fact, I would argue that for the majority of you, a newsletter would be counter productive to achieving your goals.
Most likely, your goal is to get clients and to get contracts signed. If that's the case, a newsletter is a huge waste of time.
There is another, much more effective way to grow your business and earn top dollar.

Final Thought
The theme of this newsletter seems to be around improving content quality.
When I saw this quote from Alex Hormozi, I thought it really drove the point home.
Many content creators spend hours trying to learn how various algorithms work.
While algorithms will continue to change, they'll always optimize to deliver content that users want.
So focus on delivering the best content possible.
In this interview, Alex reveals that he focuses on sharing his personal experiences as he believes it's the only way to produce truly unique and interesting content. By making himself a better entrepreneur, he believes he'll have better experiences to share, ultimately improving his content.
So instead of trying to game the algorithms, make yourself a better entrepreneur, share your unique experiences, and the rest will fall into place.
Love you guys.
Talk to you next week.
Tim
