Hey everyone. Tim here. Happy Friday.
Over the last few months, I've had a lot of people reach out and ask "is Brian Clark still part of Copyblogger?"
The answer is yes. Yes he is! Here's the deal. Brian has been managing Copyblogger for more than a decade. After the sale of StudioPress, Brian decided to take some time off, enjoy time with his family, and do some recreational writing.
Also, Brian needed time to think. Brian is a master of "seeing what is going on." His insights are going to completely change the game.
The last few months have been a whirlwind of ideas, case studies, data points, and conversations about new tech, software and products.
When it's all said and done, I'm happy to say that Brian will have completely revolutionized (again) what it means to be a successful online marketer.
From this point forward, you will be seeing more of Brian. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am to bring this new wave of education to the surface.
Hold on tight. It's coming.
Top Content Marketing Resources
1. How to Build an Audience in 2020 (and Beyond)
Hey there. Brian Clark here. It's been a minute. Right?
In this article, Brian catches us up with what he's been working on, and gives us a quick introduction to his newest audio course called Next Level 7. The course is free. It comes with transcripts and it is designed with the intention of introducing you to the new rules of content marketing.
Will your marketing keep up with the times? Or will you be left behind?
2. 5 Smart Ways to Use Metaphors to Create Irresistible Content

5. How to Create a Paid Newsletter
I wrote this article last year, and recently it has been getting shared again on Twitter. We have talked about paid newsletters a lot on the podcast, and I still think this is a great option for content marketers who don't want to bother with creating products or offering services.
It's worth the read. Hope you love it.
Closing Thoughts
Since joining the Copyblogger team, I have learned so much.
When I first came on board, I was in a huge rush to make things happen. We needed to create new content, build new products, re-format the podcast and do a million other things that felt so important at the time.
Working with the team, especially with Brian, has taught me the value of slow progress. I've been learning the value of taking my time and I've been learning how much more successful we can all be if we do things right the first time.
Growing up, I built houses. My boss was a man named Mike. He had big bear hands and wore a flannel coat. When we would frame houses, I would be the one to cut the boards. He used to tell me every day...
"Measure 10 times, cut it once."
That lesson applies to all business.
We have created something groundbreaking. It will be worth the wait. It is worth taking our time to present it to you in the best possible way.
The question is, what are you rushing? What are you being impatient with? Why?
Stay focused.
Talk to you next week.
