Keep Going

Hey everyone. Tim here. Another great week at Copyblogger HQ. We recorded our first episode of the podcast in the new studio office. By the end of the month, we will have our shows recorded on video as well. We hope this provides a more interactive experience while we talk about marketing, business and entrepreneurship

A reminder... to be featured on the podcast, don't forget to submit your question at copyblogger.com/ask/. We love answering your questions.

Top Content Marketing Resources

1. Systeme.io Review: Run Your Entire Online Business through a Powerful and Practical all in one Software - Love it or hate it, software is a necessary part of running a business in today's digital world. From selling to sending emails, software gives entrepreneurs incredible tools that promise to save them time and energy while simultaneously growing their businesses.

Systeme.io seeks to solve the technical problem that many online entrepreneurs face. This article serves as an in depth review of this new, exciting product.

2. The "Awesomeness Factor", a Renaissance for Curated Newsletters, and the Right Content Frequency - Recent chatter in the world of content marketing includes why "awesomeness" is now a Google ranking factor, the bright future for content marketers, and the guys answered your question about how frequently to publish content on your blog.

In this episode, Darrell and Tim talked about:

  • A teaser for the return of My.Copyblogger and …
  • The Key to Marketing or Selling Anything
  • Why building something of value for your audience is (still) so important
  • The power of curated newsletters for content marketers
  • And finding the sweet spots for your content, schedule, and promotion balance

4. Google Creates a New Way to Drive Traffic Via Image Search - I see this as being a potentially big opportunity for content marketers who are interested in creating images. This could apply to food bloggers, nature photographers, real estate agents, architects, etc.

"Google says this update is intended to help searchers explore topics in more detail. One of the ways searchers can explore topics in more detail is by visiting the web page where the image is featured. The added context is likely to make images more appealing to click on. It's almost like Google added meta descriptions to image search results."

5. How Jack Butcher is Creating His "Visualize Value" Enterprise - Jack is extremely transparent with his brand and it's been amazing to watch the growth of his company. It's also been a marvel to watch the spread of his ideas. Jack's concept of "visualizing value" is one that has been resonating with people all over the world. Closing Thoughts - "Keep Going"

It seems like each week, there are more and more challenges for us to get through. We all expected the virus to have "gone away" by now, but for those of us in the states, the challenge keeps growing.

Yesterday, Darrell, Brian and I had our company check in call. I was reminded of Brian's key phrase in his Unemployable network. He ends every newsletter with the phrase "keep going."

It gave me a little boost. It reminded me that nothing lasts forever. Be sure to wake up each day, and do the next right thing. Accomplish whatever is right in front of you. Write that next sentence. Send that next email. Do it, even when you don't want to.

Your future self will thank you.

Stay focused.

Talk to you next week.
