Hey everyone,
Tim here. I hope you had an amazing week full of success.
Things are hitting full stride over here at Copyblogger HQ. The second half of 2020 will be full of amazing new updates, product releases, and more. Last week, we released our first newsletter with the new format (thank you to everyone who replied with your compliments) and this week we have a new update on our podcast.
Let's get right to it. Enjoy this week's newsletter.

If you've ever had questions or suffered from "impostor syndrome," this article will help.
3. Could Creating a Subscription Based Newsletter be the Monetization Method You Need? - I'm a fan of subscriber based newsletters. They are good business models for creative writers who want to make a living off of their craft.
I've been doing a lot of research on this model. I want to know how realistic it is. Can you build a six figure business off of a paid newsletter? Could this be a solution for people who love to write but don't want to serve ads or sell products?
I believe it can be. The more research I do, the more I am discovering independent content creators making great money with the subscription based newsletter model. It's something to think about. We will keep our eye on this for you.
4. How to Write a Product Reviews to Skyrocket Your Sales - Simply creating and releasing a product is not good enough. People need to know how your product will help them and why they need it in their lives. One of the best ways to do this is to write product reviews. In this article, Jonny Naster (Hack the Entrepreneur) gives us a step by step process that will help us write product reviews that will increase sales without coming across as sleazy or desperate.
If you're going to bother spending all that time creating products, you want to make some sames. Right?! This article will help.
5. The Copyblogger SEO Masterclass - We've just released our masterclass to the public. Now, you can learn first hand from yours truly, exactly what it takes to optimize your website and earn the free fire hose of traffic that Google can provide. Great SEO requires great content. After watching this interactive class, you will be able to take the first action steps towards growing your business with inbound search.
Closing Thoughts
One of the biggest mistakes content creators make is they focus so much on "building the audience" that they forget to "build the business."
Sales are uncomfortable. Not everyone is cut out for the emotional work of selling. That's okay. Writing great copy can be the best sales tool you will ever need.
But, we must remember to be vigilant. We must not trick ourselves into thinking that building a great email list is the same thing as building a great business. Products matter. Services matter. Money matters!
Take some time this weekend to reflect on what you can do to drive more sales. How can you provide more value? How can you put yourself our there more?
Stay focused.
Talk to you next week.
