Final Thought
For the last 10 years, I avoided conferences. I told myself that they were a waste of time or that they were full of people congratulating themselves.
Now that I am here, I wish I had been attending conferences all along.
The truth is, the thought of being at parties and introducing myself to strangers made me uncomfortable, and so I would stay home. But as is the case with all things in life, now that I am here, I am seeing that my resistance was only fear.
There are so many talented people here, all of which are doing great work, making great products, and creating great businesses.
If you're reading this, I hope I can convince you to attend more conferences and events. Get involved with other creators. Create a meet up group on your city.
I regret not participating more.
